all Nordic countries in the top third of the distribution, and all Eastern European countries in the bottom half. By country, Denmark has by far the highest rate of flourishing (40.6%), followed by Switzerland (30.2%) and Austria (27.6%). The UK and Germany were midway (about 20%) and France lower (about 14%). At the bottom were Slovakia (9.9%), Russian Federation (9.4%), and Portugal (9.3%).
